Calling all bartenders, tattoo artists, etc...

Hey, are you a bartender or tattoo artist or otherwise in control of the music played in the sort of unsavory environments Bloodshot's music is most at home at? Want a Bloodshot care package to assault your patrons with? Drop us a line at streetteam@bloodshotrecords.com with some details about where you work and why you think your personal penalty box deserves a lovin' package of Bloodshot goodness, and we'll do the rest!

OUR WEBSITE HOLIDAY BLOWOUT CONTINUES THROUGH JANUARY!

Yes, the fantastic savings and the freebies remain FOR YOU for the next
month.

Take that $20 your aunt sent you to buy a sweater and get something you
REALLY want! Return that "Chicken Soup for the Soul" affirmation-a-day
calendar your nut job of a neighbor gave you for some cash money to get some
music you love.

You spent all month jostling at the malls to get Chia pets for your sister
or some magical cleaning product for mom. You dialed the phone until your
fingers bled to snap up the bargains shouted at you at 3 am on the TV to get
the 17 in 1 SUPER WRENCH for dad. The drumbeat of "Makes a Perfect Gift"
has made you edgy and cynical.

Treat yourself right, dammit. You deserve it. Now is the time.

At least one release from EVERY Bloodshot artist is on sale right now, through the end of January. Free gifts too, for all orders over thirty bucks. Best prices of the year, once a year only. Most orders ship the same day, and first-class USPS postage is INCLUDED for orders shipped in the U.S. (UPS ground and over night options available for an additional cost, and foreign orders incur additional shipping charges).

Select one of these free gifts, based on your order total:

For orders totaling $30.00 or more, you'll receive a limited Bloodshot sampler CD, featuring 22 tracks from 22 of your Bloodshot faves.

For orders totaling $65.00 or more, in addition to receiving the sampler CD, you can choose between a Bloodshot coffee mug or a white Bloodshot logo t-shirt (please visit our merchandise page for complete descriptions). Please specify which item you'd like, and the size preferred if selecting the t-shirt, in the "special instructions" section when placing your order.

For orders totaling $100 or more, you get both of the above gifts (the sampler, and your choice of either the Bloodshot coffee mug or t-shirt) AND your choice of any Bloodshot CD (this excludes double CDs, DVDs, and all non-Bloodshot titles). Again, please specify in the "special instructions" section when placing your order which items you'd like, either the mug or the shirt, AND which free single Bloodshot CD you'd like!

This sale now runs through the end of JANUARY!

Check out all of these great titles on sale!

First Annual Hideout Pyrate Panto!

Thursday 21st December, Friday 22nd December and Saturday 23rd December - Two shows nightly at 7pm (all ages) and 10pm (21+)!

In keeping with British Christmas tradition, the Hideout will present its first pantomime telling the story of Catfish Girl, her adventures on the High Seas with villanous pirates and her search for the lost mermaid treasure of Pirate Island. Expect plenty of cross dressing, bad pirate jokes, ribald humor, sea shanties and salty tails.

In the role he was born to play, Jon Langford stars as Mrs. Hammerhead, pantomime dame and proprietress of the Mariner's Leg Tavern and Grill, Kelly Hogan stars as Cap'n Skate King of the Pirates, Janet Bean as the Mermaid Queen and Tim Tuten appears as Tuttons, the chatty fishmonger. Newcomer Callie Roach will play the role of Catfish Girl. Introducing for the first (and probably last) time a glittering galaxy of Hideout regulars masquerading as pirates, mermaids and pantomime whales. Directed by Sally Timms, who is busy stitching the costumes with her own teeth.

Seating is strictly limited to 60 people per show. Floor seating so bring your own cushions. Advance ticket purchase highly recommended. For more information, visit www.hideoutchicago.com!

Stephen King Names the Bottle Rockets' Zoysia One of His Top Albums!

Stephen King, author and obvious aficionado of fine music, has named the Bottle Rockets' Zoysia as one of his top ten favorite albums of 2006 in this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly! The master of modern horror has this to say about the album:

"The Bottle Rockets are often categorized as alt-country — by people who need categories — but what they really are is America's premier bar band. Zoysia (I don't know what it means either) is their best album ever — tuneful, soulful, and best of all, loud. Primo cuts: 'Better Than Broken, 'Feeling Down.'"

His entire top ten list is viewable on the Entertainment Weekly site here.

Deano from Dollar Store performs at the Hoyle Brothers Happy Hour!
